Lifton Sea Scout Group

Lifton Sea Scouts aims to help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of our local, national and international communities. As the only Sea Scouts in West Devon District, you will often find us getting involved in water sports at Roadford Lake. In addition, we offer the full Scout programme which includes opportunities for overnight adventures. We have a great team of leaders who have a fantastic variety of experience in Scouting and we are always willing to expand our team and welcome new leaders.

In September 2020, we resumed face-to-face meetings but numbers are restricted in line with the Covid-19 restrictions. For the time being, we have limited numbers in our Beaver section and Scout section. The Cub pack meets in two halves, 12 attending one week and 12 attending the following week. The current lockdown means that we cannot offer face-to-face Scouting for the next few weeks, but we hope to resume as soon as the restrictions are lifted.

We continue to add new people to our waiting lists for all sections.
