Scouts and Guides from across the West Devon Borough came together in April to celebrate St Georges Day, in a break from tradition the two organisations held a funday style event so that the young people could try different activities.

Trev Munro from West Devon Scouts said “the young people had a cracking day and tried activities ranging from Axe Throwing to Boom Whackers, we’ll certainly be holding this style of event again to celebrate St Georges Day”

The event was held with thanks to Debo Sellis, West Devon Mayor. Debo attended as a guest during the afternoon and spoke to the young people about the event badge.
